Here at First Baptist Church, Hispanic Congregation, we believe that the Bible is the word of God, that is without error and a perfect treasure of divine instruction.

We believe that there is only one God, eternally existent in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and is the creator of all things.

We believe God reviled himself to humanity as the man Jesus Christ and was sent by God as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all mankind. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate his power over sin and death and ascended to Heaven's glory and will return again.

We believe the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, fully divine. The Holy Spirit exalts Christ. The Holy Spirit convicts mankind of sin, of righteousness and of judgment. He enlightens and empowers the believer and the church in worship, evangelism, and service.

We believe mankind was created in God's image. He created mankind as male and female and is the crown jewel work of His creation. By his free choice mankind sinned against God and brought sin into the human race. The sacredness of human personality is evident in that God created mankind in His own image, and in that Christ died for man; therefore every person of every race possesses dignity and is worthy of respect and Christian love.

We believe salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. In its broadest sense salvation includes regeneration, justification, sanctification, and glorification.
